We Are Currently Accepting Patients in a Clinical Study for Treatment of Obesity in Horses that Have Insulin Dysregulation.
Check this info page or contact us through the form at the bottom of the page to learn how your horse can enroll.
Study Purpose
Obesity and Insulin dysregulation can be common in horses, affecting between 18 and 27% of the equine population. If left untreated, it could lead to laminitis, chronic lameness, loss of use, or even death. We are currently accepting horses in a clinical trial to investigate a potential new way of treating and improving your horse’s body condition or obesity, which may improve your horse's insulin regulation.
This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the treatment of obesity in horses that have insulin dysregulation.
